SURF RAKE Beach Cleaner Applications

Beaches, Lakes, Playgrounds, Volleyball Courts...

A beach cleaner's primary purpose is to remove all forms of debris from beaches and sandy recreation areas. This includes: seaweed, bottles, cans, papers, cigarette butts, animal droppings, oil residues, etc. SURF RAKE beach cleaners work equally well in dry sand or wet sand without time-consuming and expensive replacement of screens or sieves. Litter Collection:

The S-belt sifting/raking conveyor belt is ideal for picking garbage off the beach. As shown in the video bellow, it easilly removes boxes, cans, bottles, wrappers, bottle caps, and a variety of other debris.

Seaweed / Algae:

The SURF RAKE is the only beach cleaner that easily removes wet, heavy seaweed. It excels at cleaning in wet sand areas, where seaweed washes up on a daily basis.

Large material: stones, rock, coral, wood

Heavy-duty heat-treated stainless steel alloy tines, on SURF RAKE beach cleaners, allow them to collect large stones without damage. If a stone is too large or deeply buried, the tine flexes back then automatically returns to the normal working position. Our beach cleaners have been used at dozens of beach renourishment sites around the globe where enormous quantities of large stones needed to be removed.

Oil Spills / Tar Balls:

SURF RAKE beach cleaners have been successfully used to clean oil spills in the US, Europe and the Middle East. Oil residue or tar balls are collected by the tines and deposited in the hopper. As there are no screens or sieves, tar balls do not to clog and damage the equipment.
