How the TURF RAKE Rock Picker Works

The TURF RAKE rock picker penetrates the soil with hundreds of tines, removes stones and debris, and levels the target area in one pass. Because the TURF RAKE rock picker cleans and levels in one process, it leaves the area ready for seeding and eliminates the need for multiple rock picking machines.

Here's how it works…

All Models of TURF RAKE rock pickers work similarly:

The moldboard levels uneven areas in the soil.

Individually replaceable stainless steel tines mounted on a belt-covered bar flight conveyor rake stones, rocks, and debris from the soil toward an adjustable deflector plate.

As a result, the rock picker removes stones, sticks, rocks, and other unwanted materials and deposites them on the elevating portion of the conveyor. The TURF RAKE rock picker's conveyor then transports them to the hopper, which can be hydraulically raised and tripped for efficient dumping. Even a hopper full of rock has no problem being raised and tripped into high dumpsters or trucks.

Now that you know the basics of how the TURF RAKE rock picker works, learn about its applications.
