For League of Agricultural & Equine Centers Attendees:
Professional Arena Footing Grooming & Stone Removal Machines
Stones and foreign material in arena footing can create uneven surfaces and increase the risk of injury — especially after seasonal changes, heavy use, or new material being added.
We work with equine facilities, agricultural centers, and arena managers to groom and prepare footing by removing stones and unwanted debris while preserving the integrity of the riding surface.
Arena Footing Stone Removal--Before, During & After

Arena managers use it to:
Remove stones that rise to the surface over time

Frequently Asked Questions
Will stone removal disturb my arena footing?
The Turf Rake was designed to remove stones and foreign material while minimizing disruption to the underlying base. We'll help determine whether this approach is appropriate for your specific footing.
Is this suitable for all footing types?
It's commonly used on sand-based and mixed footing systems. We recommend a brief conversation to assess your arena before renting.
Can we operate the equipment ourselves?
Yes. Rentals include guidance to ensure proper use and safe operation. As long as you can operate a tractor, you will be able to operate the Turf Rake.
Is rental a good option for occasional maintenance?
Many facilities choose rental for seasonal preparation or periodic stone removal without committing to ownership. Though they often find that the equipment is worth the investment, once they experience the results and time savings.
Do we need a tractor to use the Turf Rake?
Yes, a tractor is required to tow and operate the Turf Rake. All you need is an agricultural tractor with one hydraulic spool, a three-point hitch, and a rear PTO shaft. Please reference the technical specifications to see if your tractor meets the Turf Rake's power requirements, or reach out to our team for more specific tractor recommendations.
