Replacing a tine is a quick and easy process.
Begin by raising the bucket all the way and mounting the safety support over the cylinder rod. Be sure to insert the safety pin and secure with the cotter pin. Rotate the conveyor belt until the tine you want to replace is at the top rear of the conveyor. This will allow for easy access. Loosen the nut of the tine that is to be replaced , being sure not to remove the nut and washer. Unhook the old tine and remove. Then slide the new tine under the washer and hold it up against the stud so that the bottom of the tine is completely hidden behind the washer. Tighten the nut to 18 lbs of torque while holding the tine against the stud. Then you’re all set to go!
