#2. To move backwards, engage the clutch with the left hand, and pull the left lever towards you. Disengage the clutch

#2. To turn the screen off, engage the clutch, pull the center lever towards you, and disengage the clutch.

Control your ground speed

#1. To move slowly, shift into 1st gear by engaging the clutch, pulling the handle on the right towards you, and disengaging the clutch.

#2. To move faster, shift into 2nd gear by engaging the clutch, pushing the handle on the right away from you, and disengaging the clutch.

#3. Accelerate in either direction by pressing the throttle on the right handle.

#4. To stand still, shift into neutral. Engage the clutch, pull/push the handle into the middle. It should jiggle back and forth with some play. Release the clutch.

Adjust cleaning depth

To dig deeper into the sand, turn the handle counter-clockwise. This will lower the cutting edge of the sifting screen.

Engage the Differential Lock

If struggling with traction on the sand, use the differential loc. Engage the clutch. Squeeze the right handle. Release the clutch. Release the right handle (differential lock) when done.

Empty the Bucket

Pull the pin to unhinge the bucket. Pull it out. Click it back into place after emptying debris.

How to Replace the Sifting Screens

Depending on the size of the material you’re trying to remove (smaller material = smaller mesh size) and the wetness of the sand (collecting sand > use a bigger screen), you may want to use a screen with a different mesh size.

#1. Using a 13mm wrench & socket wrench, remove the four bolts that hold the screen on the shaking mechanism.

#2. Remove the screen.

#3. Replace it with the new screen, and secure the bolts, being sure to tighten each of the four.
