Maintaining Wastewater Treatment Drying Beds With a Turf Rake

The Barber Turf Rake removes years of foliage build-up that clogs the a waste water treatment facility’s drying beds, allowing water to pass through the sand and into the underlying aquifer. Drying beds, along with ocean discharge, serve as the final steps for waste water treatment that return the water to the environment. The Turf Rake can be used to remove stones, foliage, and other unwanted debris from soil to prepare land for construction, agriculture, or, as in this case, alternate turf applications.
